It’s a Shoe-In! Shoes are my favorite accessory because I’m always the same size, an 8 medium! That size is not only popular; it’s easy to find and fit. I’ve finally realized that a huge collection isn’t necessary; especially since I can only wear one pair at any given time and styles change. Some essentials are the black and beige pump for business, a metallic sandal for the evening, a pair of booties and boots for many different occasions, and a great walking shoe. On my recent European cruise and four-night stay in London, I was able to narrow it down to 3 pairs of shoes—my black, leather walking shoes, a black dressy flat and a black sparkly sandal. However, I couldn’t resist buying navy booties that will look great with jeans, slacks, and a skirt this fall/winter. Seven Fall and Winter Trends In Ladies Shoes for 2018:

Bows are a favorite embellishment this season. They appear on the front, sides, or back of flats, mules, and heels. Duchess Meghan Markle has been wearing a pair of black pumps with a bow at the heel.

Square toe flats and heels are making the scene; even though there are plenty of pointed styles available. This new look will gain popularity.

Kick up your heels with a pair of wild, western boots! The styles are sleeker and a little less pointy than the traditional ones. Sometimes they are extra wild in the animal skin!

The thick soles sneakers/trainers are definitely in! Some styles are a cross between a sneaker and bootie. You’ll be sporting a sparkling stride with many selections.
